What can I expect to receive in my Lunch Box package?

The Explorer comes with a removable silicone seal, the stainless frame, and 1 X small stainless interior container for dips, sauces, snacks, etc. 

 

The Snacker comes with a removable silicone seal, the stainless steel frame, one small square container, and one rectangular stainless container that both fit perfectly inside the lunch box.

 

Will the lunchboxes keep food hot?

Our lunch boxes were not designed to be insulated; however, stainless steel by nature does provide some insulation. I would recommend looking at our NEW Insulated Food Container (on PreOrder) if you are looking to send hot foods like soups, pastas, etc.

What materials are used in making your products?
It is goal to reduce plastics in the world, especially single use plastics. You can be certain that our products will NEVER contain any plastic materials whatsoever. 

Our silicone based products are made with 100% pure silicone that is compliant with LFGB Regulation 21CFR 177.2600.  This material is even a higher class than FDA as it goes one step further to remove additional toxins not approved for food contact by the EU Health and Safety Board. It is the safest silicone on the market, non-toxic, and has durable qualities that withstand normal use.

Our stainless steel products are made with 304 stainless steel.  Our food grade stainless steel has met all criteria to be deemed safe for food preparation, storage and dining. The most common food grade stainless steel is Type 304. But 304 grade stainless steel also goes by another name or code, 18/8 and 18/10 stainless steel. 

Where are your products made?

We are all about transparency and are committed to our mission just as much to our product and offering ones that can be trusted by our community.  We ensure our products are responsibly manufactured by our manufacturing partners abroad (China and India) and also use a contracted third party to conduct product safety and materials testing to ensure we are meeting the FDA regulations for our lunch box system - meaning they are all FDA Approved for food contact, meeting ad exceeding CPSIA (USA) and CCPSA (Canada) regulations.  

What are the dimensions of each lunch box?

The Explorer:  10in(L) X 7.25in(W)  X 2.25in(H). 

The Snacker (inches):  9(L) X 5(W)  X 2 (H)

Please check your lunch bag dimensions to ensure proper fit.

Are the products dishwasher safe?

While we all know that hand washing ensures a more delicate wash, all of our products are dishwasher safe.  You may experience fading with the silicone snack bags over time but the quality and function will not change.

Do I need to remove the silicone seal before placing in the dishwasher or cleaning by hand?

We recommend removing the silicone seal for cleaning.  To remove, you can use a butter knife to peal the edge back and then remove with your hand.  We made it strong and mighty to ensure a great seal for years and years. 

Can I place a gift order with multiple addresses?
If you wish to make multiple gift orders which will ship to many destinations, each order/destination must be placed separately.

Do you offer discounts on bulk orders by groups?
Discounts are available for schools, day cares, churches, camps, etc. A minimum order is required before bulk discounts are offered. Please contact us at wholesale@thegoodkiind.com

What is your return/cancellation/exchange policy?

Customer Satisfaction is at the forefront of our business and that's why we accept product returns of products within 30 days of purchase. This policy applies only to purchases made through thegoodkiind.com. Purchases made through a store that carries our products will be subject to the individual stores' return policy.  

In order to be eligible for return, a RAN (Return Authorization Number) must be requested in advance by contacting us.  Returns shipped without a RAN will not be accepted.  This is to ensure our warehouse team is safe and if there is an unidentified parcel, we ask that they do not open for their safety.  

Customers are responsible for any shipping cost incurred when making a return. 

Any discounts applied to your initial order will be adjusted to consider the item being returned. If you received FREE SHIPPING in your initial order and your final amount (after deducting the item being refunded) no longer qualifies for free shipping, a standard shipping fee will apply.  Refunds will be credited to the original payment source and cannot be guaranteed without a Return Authorization Number.

 

We offer FREE product exchanges.  The customer will need to pay their invoice for the exchange product prior to receiving a return label from TGK.

Warranty

By taking care of any products purchased from The Good Kiind, you can expect years of use. The GoodKiind warrants all stainless steel products to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase. Other products, including our snack sacs are to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of original purchase - although with proper care, these products should last far beyond these dates.

What is not covered in the warranty?

- Issues / damage caused by abuse or negligence

- Normal wear and color fading/scratching

- Scuffing, scratching, staining, and small tears are considered normal wear 

- Breakage that results from dropping any of our products

The Good Kiind's sole obligation under this warranty and any implied warranty is limited to replacement or refund (if purchased within 90 days) of any component that fails to conform to this warranty.

Customers who purchased their items from The Good Kiind or any of our partner resellers are always welcome to contact us about our policies.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Your order will be processed and shipped with 1-3 business days.  Below are the current shipping times we are experiencing.

Canada + the US:  5-7 business days once shipped

Holiday and Peak Seasons

While we will process and ship orders within 1-3 business days, please anticipate delayed shipping during the holiday season and peak times and plan ahead. 

Refusal of Delivery

If a package is refused for delivery, the customer is responsible for actual shipping charges incurred. Once we receive the package at our facility, a credit will be issued to the original credit card for the purchase price, less the actual shipping cost.

Incorrect/Incomplete Address Provided

Please ensure you have provided the most up to date and accurate shipping information.  If the customer provided incorrect/incomplete shipping information, the customer is responsible for the shipping charges and will not be refunded for the cost of the product.  This is particularly important for international shipments as the customs security is very strict about completion and accuracy of shipping information.

At the Good Kiind, we use 100% pure platinum silicone - which is made from natural sand.
