2 Year Manufacturers Warranty
This warranty specifically covers faults in the product that have been caused by the manufacturer (The Good Kiind) and are not results of normal wear and tear or misuse by the consumer. Such faults would likely be detected when the product is used initially.
Like any other product, normal wear and tear may occur but not to the point of the product no longer being functional for day to day use.
Silicone Components
Silicone can absorb strong fragrances from soaps (dishwasher or by hand). We HIGHLY recommend using a non-fragrant dish soap for this reason when caring for your silicone (we love Unscented Company DishwasherTabs). If your silicone has absorbed some smells or fragrance, you may find your child will not like the taste and thus may not complete their lunch. We recommend testing un-eaten foods every now and then to determine if this may be why your child is not eating all of their lunch.
Getting rid of scents + fragrances in silicone
Here are a few different methods we have tested and customers have shared on how they have gotten rid of smelly kitchen silicone products:
1. Vinegar + Baking Soda Soak (1:1 ration of vinegar and water will also work)
Here what to do:
In a separate sink/bowl, fill (just a few inches deep) with very hot water and vinegar (equal parts)
Sprinkle in a teaspoon of baking soda (you should see a fizzing - if you don't add a bit more)
Mix and let the silicone soak for a few hours (overnight ideally)
Rinse and dry
You may need to repeat this a few times - depending on how strong the scent.
2. Boil in Water + Vinegar
Here's what to do:
Fill a pot up with 3/4 water and 1/4 white vinegar (enough that your silicone components are submerged)
Add a table spoon of non-fragrant dish soap (optional)
Boil for 10-15 mins
Remove from water, rinse, and dry
Silicone Seal Falling Down
We find that with pure platinum silicone there can be a natural shrinkage from time to time. If you experience this, use both hands to 'stretch your silicone seal' all the way around, replace it into the container, and secure it along the edges, close it firmly, and re-open to ensure it's set back in tightly. Should you continue to experience issues, please reach out to customer support at hello@thegoodkiind.com for assistance.
Loose Latches
Over time, latches may loosen with normal use. We sell our replacement latches directly on the website. Should you ONLY need to purchase a latch replacement, reach out to customer support and we can work with you on the cost of shipping.
Up your kiddo's lunch game with The Explorer™ lunch box. Robust and durable, this eco-friendly lunch box is built to withstand rough rides inside a backpack – while keeping your precious midday meal fresh and undamaged. Thanks to handy separate compartments, gone are the days of food returned home because it touched her yogurt. In addition, freshness is guaranteed with The Explorer. The removable, interior leak-resistant silicone seal assures crackers remain crisp, fruit ripe, and sandwiches soft and succulent (not soggy). Also, no runny dips and sauces can escape – the days of books covered in yogurt and strawberries coated in hummus are long gone!
Our removable leak-resistant silicone seal
The Explorer™ has an interior removable silicone seal designed to prevent leaks of thicker runnier foods within the lunch box. Parent's and caretaker can pack cottage cheese, yogurt, hummus, etc right in the lunch box. For super runny foods like the juice from fruits or those with water-like consistency should use the side scoops OR add a thin paper towel to the base of the compartment to pack such items.
Built to last for as long as your kiddo is going to school!
Each Explorer lunch box Includes:
1 X small round scoop (inside dish with lid)
1 X large round scoop (inside dish with lid)

I can't say enough about my new good kiind lunch kits for my kids! We were using smaller bento boxes before, and they were always coming home hungry from school. With the good kiind, I feel confident they are getting enough food during their busy days. I love the separate compartments, and I absolutely love the smallest one, that I use to provide a small dessert, along with their healthy lunch. Thank you for making such an amazing product!!

We have tried everything!
We have tried what seems like every brand and style of lunchbox. Plastic breaks and cracks, other brands leak and things get soggy. This has been a game changer for us and our busy family. Kids love the colors and I love that they can go in the dishwasher! Happy Back to school lunch packets!!

I purchased this along with the Snacker and an extra Rectangular Container. I loved that it came with the spork. This is the only item my preschooler sometimes struggles to open but has opened a few times on their own. We have so far just used this for cold items, but I look forward to using it with hot stuff soon!

Perfect for hot lunches
Purchased a couple of these for my childrens' hot lunches to accompany their Snacker/Explorer lunch kits. We love how easy they are to use and how well they work to keep the food warm through lunchtime. The addition of the spork is fantastic and both of my kids (4yo and 6yo) love using them. The silicone bumper is a great addition to protect the already sturdy stainless steel container and the mom-bonus is that it is so easy to take apart, clean and reassemble!

Seriously, just buy it. Do not waste you money buying other kinds. These are the best! My kiddo says the insulated food jar even keeps the food warmer then the previous kind that was used.

NO PLASTIC!
I have honestly been searching for a 100% plastic free hot food container for YEARS! Everything has plastic lids and I never felt comfortable with my kids hot soup steaming off the lid (inside the container and into the food they were eating). I am not a toxic expert but that was a NO for me. Plus, id always end up throwing out the nasty plastic lids because they were impossible to clean and just became gross overtime. The container is 100% plastic free - includes a spork and has a back up silicone ring (so smart). I bought 4 with 4 snacker boxes because my kids like hot lunch with a bunch of snacks - it was the perfect combination. Been using the snackers for 3 years and they are perfect still. Worth every penny.

My son had a little trouble removing the lid. Otherwise container works well. Spork could be a bit longer.
Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback Stephanie! We some tips with the silicone seal to make it easier to use. Sam will reach out to you via email to see how it is going for you - you've probably figured them out by now, hahah!
